Our History
Concrete Curbing
We install concrete curbing for residential and commercial landscape applications in a variety of design, color, and shape options. Landscape curbing is perfect to edge and outline areas of your landscape enabling you to highlight flower and garden beds, trees, pathways, walkways, playgrounds, sandboxes, ponds, pools, turf, and fence or property lines. Concrete curbing can also be used to divert water run-off and drainage in your yard.
Materials We Use
We use the finest concrete and mix it to our exacting specifications. The powder concrete color e use is precisely weighed and added to each concrete mix which integrates into the entire concrete batch and ensures consistency in color from one mix to the next. There is never a noticeable difference of where one mix ends and another starts in the finished curbing. We use Admixtures colors by Colorfull in our concrete curbing but can cross reference any color manufacturer if needed to color match the curbing with another element in your design.
Alternative Edge Custom Curb Design is independently owned and operated by Richard Fry since 2001 and is still growing strong. Alt-Edge is the “ORIGINAL” decorative Landscape Curbing Company in the Riverside area. The areas in Southern California we service are: Inland Empire, Orange County and parts of Los Angeles County. With over 200,000 feet of installed curb under our belt, we are the most experienced and best rated in providing superior quality & service. Richard is “on-site” with all of the jobs, so you will get his personal attention from start to finish.
Our concrete is top of the line from clean aggregate sand, all the way down to the sealer. We do NOT skimp on our mix. For example, we do NOT add extra sand to our mix or use dredged sand for cost control. By taking short-cuts and cutting cost, it can/will weaken the concrete. We offer many styles, textures, colors and finishes to match your specific taste and budget to enhance your home and landscape. We also offer lighted landscape curbing, at an additional cost.
